What size power station runs Starlink?

Starlink's spec sheets list average power of 75–100 W for the Standard kit and 25–40 W for the Mini. Over 24 hours that's the difference between a large and a mid-size power station.

The numbers

We use the midpoint of each published range for energy (87.5 W and 32.5 W) and the top of the range for inverter sizing (100 W and 40 W). The Standard kit includes its router, and the Mini has Wi-Fi built in.

Starlink Standard (Gen 3 kit): 87.5 W × 1 × 24 h = 2,100.0 Wh → ÷ 0.85 = 2,470.6 Wh from battery Capacity: 2,470.6 Wh × 1 day ÷ 0.9 usable = 2,745 Wh Continuous: 100.0 W Surge: 100.0 W
